Physical Inventory

Physical Inventory (Inventory Counting) is used to maintain the accuracy of stock levels and help to correct any discrepancies.

These counts can be done by:

  • inventory_2 Bin: Counting all inventory in a bin.
  • location_on Area: Counting all inventory in an area.
  • category Product: Counting all inventory of a product.

Note

Physical Inventory is different than Stock Adjustments and refers to performing a stock count of items.

In the event where items are found damaged, expired or need to be returned from Issue Locations, make a Stock Adjustment.

Important

Different batches of the same product may be stocked, and will show as separate entries. Ensure that the stock count is done separately for each batch.
