Inventory Count
Inventory Count allows you to perform routine checks on items to ensure that the item quantity in the system reflects the quantity of the items physically stored in a location.
Note
Physical Inventory is different than Stock Adjustments and refers to performing a stock count of items.
In the event where items are found damaged, expired or need to be returned from Issue Locations, make a Stock Adjustment.
Important
Different batches of the same product may be stocked, and will show as separate entries. Ensure that the stock count is done separately for each batch.
Perform Inventory Count
- From the Stock page, select an item.
Search for an item using the search search bar or use a filter_alt filter to narrow the search.
- Click more_horiz, located to the right-hand side of the item, and select Count Inventory.
See example

- Enter the Quantity of the stock you physically counted. Remember, this count is in the stocking unit of measure for this product.

- Click Confirm.
Note
When the stock counted is different to the expected amount, you will be asked to confirm this count.
