Products

Products page provides an overview of stocked products for the selected location.

This page is accessible only to users with Admin privileges.

Go to the Products page from the settings Configuration Menu, located in the top-right corner.

As an Admin user you can view, add, and manage your stocked products.

You can also filter the list using of the filter_alt tools available or use the View toggle to control what you want to see/hide in the list.

Adding Product

Products can be added using the New button. A pop-up window will appear to complete a three-step process to add a product.

Step 1: Product Selection

Search and select a product by a product description or product code.

Step 2: Stocking Details

Stocking details are used to define how and where to stock the product. This would include:

NameDescription
BinThis will be the default storage place for the product. More information about setting up bins can be found here.
Stocking Unit MeasureA Stocking Unit of Measure determines how to stock the product in selected location. More information about Stocking Units of Measure can be found here.
Stocking InstructionsAny additional instructions about the product, displayed to users when receiving product from delivery.

Step 3: Reorder Details

Choose whether to activate/deactive the reorder feature for the chosen product. If you switch the active reorder toggle to ON, you need to specify the Stock Minimum and the Resupply Quantity.

NameDescription
Stock MinimumThe minimum quantity of the product to be kept in stock before it is put in to MyWrightPlace basket. The stock minimum is determined with the Unit of Measure set for the product in the location.
Resupply QuantitySpecify the quantity of the product to be placed in to MyWrightPlace basket. The resupply quantity is determined in order unit of measure (Eaches). A Unit of Measure conversion (if product is stocked in other unit of measure than EACH) will be displayed to provide an indication as to how much stock will be re-ordered.

If you switch the active reorder toggle OFF, you are not required to fill in the Stock Minimum and the Resupply Quantity.

Click Save to add the product to the product list.

Edit Stocked Product

You can edit stocked products by clicking on the product row in the list. The product maintenance page consists of three sections:

Goods Receipt Tab

In Goods receipt tab you can control the Stocking Unit of Measure, Stocking UoM Quantity, and Stocking Instructions.

Stocking UoM QuantityNumber of Stocking Units per Delivery Unit (Each)
For example: If a delivery unit contains 10 items (pack size) and you store and issue this product individually, the stocking unit of measure would be selected as Individual Items.
Stocking InstructionsAny additional notes on how to stock product. This information is displayed to users when receiving a delivery.

Note

A Stocking Unit of Measure cannot be changed if product has stock stored in a location.

Stocking Tab

In the Stocking tab you can edit the default Bin where the product is physically placed and stored in.

The My Wright Place Reorder Active toggle control enables automatic stock replenishment and adds the product to MyWrightPlace basket once it goes belows the Stock Minimum quantity.

The Stock Minimum is the lowest the stock can go before it is put into MyWrightPlace basket. The Resupply Quantity is the amount of stock to be placed into MyWrightPlace basket.

Important

When changing the default bin, this action will move all items of that product to the new bin.
